Our Dream
The Tala Hospital was born from a shared and ambitious dream: of providing accessible, inclusive,
and affordable healthcare to the community. From the beginning, our mission has been to break
down barriers related to cost, distance, and limited resources, ensuring that high-quality care is
available to all. Our journey has been driven by continuous growth and the trust of the community,
which motivates us to push the boundaries of what we can offer and to provide the best possible
care to every individual who comes through our doors.
Currently, The Tala Hospital has acquired Level IV status (KEPH) after being upgraded by the
KMPDC effective from 14th November 2025 and also its SHA Accredited, following the successful
fulfillment of all requirements set by the Ministry of Health and the regulator. This upgrade has
allowed the facility to expand its Specialized services, including Advanced diagnostics, Critical care,
Renal services, Surgical procedures, and Inpatient care. As the preferred healthcare provider in Tala,
Machakos County, and neighboring regions, we are dedicated to upholding our reputation for excel-
lence in patient care , and our commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve.
We aspire to elevate The Tala Hospital to a Level 5 regional referral center, expanding and enhancing
our services to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community. The facility has established a
comprehensive Dialysis center, advanced imaging facilities; including CT Scan, and is planning to offer
a robust Oncology, Urology services, an Entomology, and MRI Services in the near future. We also
recognize the importance of mental health and we are committed to developing a comprehensive
program offering Counseling, Therapy, and Psychiatric care. Our vision is to create a healthcare hub
where advanced medical technologies are combined with compassionate care ensuring that every
patient feels valued and that the well-being of the community remains our top priority.
